Deborah and I were reminiscing this morning about the great kiddie show hosted by Captain Kangaroo.

Deborah mentioned a song that used to be on the show: "Herkimer the Lonely Doll."

Well, it turns out to be "Herkimer the Homely Doll," although on the web some other folks remember the alternate title also. Perhaps there were two versions. But here's what appears to be the definitive one:
