I'll be in Reykjavik October 17-22 to attend the Airwaves Music Festival. Not as a writer, but as a new music geek/arctic cultures head. I'm a teensy-weensy bit above the Airwaves target age demographic, so, like, I don't need a couch to crash on, or someone to do Jagermeister shots with (unless, you know, they're totally hot).
I've got a hotel room and a festival pass, I've read the Lonely Planet Iceland & LP Reykjavik guides, also Arnaldur Indridason's SILENT AS THE GRAVE (JAR CITY's next).
What else do I need? Any hot tips as to stuff to see/do/avoid? For example, this looks like fun:
